Traditional Burial Services: We offer complete funeral
options for families choosing Traditional Burial Services. At present, our
facility will accommodate moderate gatherings for families and friends. We
provide a complete selection of Caskets supplied by Batesville Casket Company,
the largest provider of caskets in the United States. We also carry a full
selection of Outer Burial Containers furnished by Wilbert Vault Company, the
largest provider of burial vaults in the United States.
Traditional Cremation Services: Cremation is a service
that many families choose today. We are pleased to offer all services for
cremation. If you and your family choose to have a Traditional Cremation
Service with an evening of gathering with friends with viewing, we can fulfill
that request. If your choice is a gathering without viewing, we can help you
with this also. Some families choose to have Immediate Cremation with no
viewing or services. We are available to help you with these needs also.
With any Cremation Choice, we have available to you and your family a complete
selection of Cremation Merchandise. Cremation Caskets, Urns and Urn Vaults are
available for services with personalization available.
Facilities: Our Facility is unlike any other facility in
Lenoir. We have taken a beautiful older home, constructed in 1932 and renovated
it to provide families the Comforts of Home. We have totally reconditioned the
home to allow families the opportunity of making funeral arrangements and
gathering with their friends in a comfortable setting unlike the more
institutional facilities that you see in many funeral homes today.
Colors were chosen to be more uplifting. The experience of losing a loved one is
very difficult, we want you and your family to be comfortable and feel at home
with us. We restored the beautiful hardwood floors and placed bright rugs on
them to make the facility warm and inviting. When you walk in to the main
gathering area, you have the feeling that you are in a living room at a family
get together. Our vision is to make you, your family and friends feel at home
and comfortable. We want this to be an experience of personal care, friendship
and compassion. We believe our facility will impress you and make you feel very
comfortable.
Future Facilities: Plans are already being made for the
future addition of space. The addition will be designed to maintain the beauty
of the existing structure. A chapel with large visitation space will be the
main focus. Parking for a large crowd will be in the plan, allowing visitors
easy access to the facility. We hope to have a drawing for the new plans
displayed in the coming months.
Prices: We are well aware that the price of
Funeral and Cremation Services is very high. Our mission for Lenoir and the
surrounding area is to provide the highest quality of service at prices more
affordable to you and your family. While other funeral home might offer
discounts on services, we feel that if your prices are proper to begin with,
then discounting is not necessary. We encourage you to compare our prices to
others in the area. We do ask while you are comparing, you do so “apples to
apples”. Bring what you have been offered by other funeral homes and see how we
can save you several hundreds of dollars and maybe thousands.
Preplanning: One of the most thoughtful acts an
individual can provide for his or her family is preplanning funeral
arrangements. We offer families the opportunity of arranging funeral or
cremation plans in advance. You may choose to place all information on file
with your wishes or you may choose to also pay for these arrangements in
advance, removing the financial burden from your family. We offer plans that
allow you to make monthly payments to fit your budget. All of our plans follow
the laws and direction of the North Carolina Board of Funeral Service and are
audited annually to assure you, the consumer that all funds are appropriately
managed.
Transferring Your PreNeed: When you preplan your funeral
or cremation, it is just that, it is yours. You have the flexibility of moving
your arrangements to the funeral home of your choice. If you currently have
your plans made and paid for at one funeral provider, you may simply have it
transferred by meeting with the new funeral provider and signing a request of
transfer form. The new funeral provider will take care of the transfer. This is
approved by the North Carolina Board of Funeral Service.
Monuments: We offer a full line of granite monuments and
markers. We can show you a wide range of designs and colors to properly
memorialize your loved one. If the need is for a flat marker or if your choice
is for an upright monument, we can help you with your selection. Call us for

Speaking to Groups: Many civic groups or churches often
look for speakers to come and visit with their organizations. We appreciate all
opportunities to share information with the public. We can explain the
advantages of making funeral arrangements in advance as well as sharing how we
can save you and your family from the financial burden of the high costs of
funerals and cremations.
