Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Dorothy Marcella Hubbard Kiziah Craig, age 69, of Lenoir, died Friday, February 5, 2010 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born March 15, 1940 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Craig was a daughter of the late Charles Wilson and Lillian Lucille Smith Hubbard.
She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church and had retired from the food industry.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Carroll Kiziah; one son, David Alan Kiziah and two brothers, Ray Edward “Bud” Smith and Thomas Charles Hubbard.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Carroll Kiziah and wife Theresa of Hudson; one sister, Nancy Hubbard Clark and husband Thomas of Lenoir, Grandchildren, Charlie Kiziah and Kelli Kiziah Griffin and husband Benjamin, Jr.
A celebration of Mrs. Craig’s life will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Gray Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory.
