Larry Garland Bolick
11/12/1949 - 7/20/2010



Lenoir, NC – Mr. Larry Garland Bolick, age 60, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Bolick was born in Caldwell County on November 12, 1949 to Lester and Virginia Wilson Bolick. He is survived by his wife Sherry Wilson Bolick of the home.


Mr. Bolick was preceded in death by his brother, Lester Garland Bolick, Jr. and his grandmother, Edith J. Wilson.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Kasey Lynn Bolick, and fiancée, Codi Nelson and Jennifer Brook Townsend and husband, Christopher; his sister, Debra Lynn Bolick; grandson, Reagan Phoenix Townsend; and god-son, Gregory Caldwell Bolick, Jr. and wife, Tina.


A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Whitnel on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 4:00 with Pastor Stuart White officiating.


The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 2:00 until 4:00, at the church.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Foundation of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, 2855 Hickory Blvd., Hudson, NC 28638, in memory of Larry Garland Bolick.

I'm so sorry and so sad about Larry. He was such a good person. Kind and nice to every one he knew.He loved little children and they love him back. He loved Christmas more than most people, and all the good food the family shared.No more pain with Jesus by his side. We all loved you Larry. To his wife, daughter, sister and mother and Daddy, we love you and share the heart ache with you.
