Hudson, NC- Mrs. Mary Duane Phillips, age 73, loving mother and caring friend, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. Phillips was born in Reidsville, NC on June 8, 1937, to the late Robert Duane and Catherine Martin Schronce.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her children and their spouses; Karon and Jack Rowell, Kathy and Bruce Autin, Gerald and Lisa Noblitt, and Bonnie and Mark Holsclaw; grandchildren and their spouses, Shasta and Danny Keller, David Mace, Krystel and Richie Howard, Ashley and William Miller, Andrew Holsclaw, and Phillip Holsclaw; great-grandchildren, Jackie Pickett, Lilly Keller, and Mykenzie Holsclaw; brothers, Ben, Gene, Jerry and Herb Duane, and Joe Schronce; sisters, Barbara Bray, Judy Bray, and Linda Poole.
A celebration of Mrs. Phillips life will be held Monday, July 26, 2010, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 26, 2010, from 1:30 until 2:00 prior to the service.
