Alma Kincaid

Alma Kincaid, 89, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Alma was born on February 10, 1936, to the late Hardy and Gertrude Coffey.

In addition to her parents, Alma is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kincaid; sister, Marie Absher and brother, Roy Coffey.

Those left to cherish Alma’s memory are her children, Greg Kincaid (Gina); Cynthia Peters; grandchildren, Brendon Peters (Morgan), Taylor Genaway (Tyler), Kameron Kincaid, Corey Kincaid; great grandchildren, Walden James and Knox, and one on the way; sister, Lena Nichols; brother, Charles Coffey; sister-in-law, Shelby Coffey; and many other cherished family members.

Alma was a loving wife, mother, and Nan, who loved her card games, sports, and gardening. She never missed the opportunity to go on a trip with her family, friends, and her senior church friends. Alma was an active member of the WHO and Stella Austin church group. She served many years at Hudson First Baptist raising children in the nursery. Alma loved being with people, “the more the merrier”; you were always greeted with a “Hey Hon” as she would ruthlessly beat you in games and cards while making sure you had a good meal.

A service to celebrate Alma’s life will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 3:30 PM, at Hudson First Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Jarvis and Pastor Stuart White officiating. The family will receive friends prior to her service from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Hudson First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery, Sardis.
