Amanda Gail Reece

Amanda Reece, born on February 20, 1980, bid farewell to this world on November 30, 2025, in Granite Falls, North Carolina.

She was the daughter of William Claude Reece and Sharon Canter McCurry; sister to William Anthony Reece and Charlotte Kern. Amanda leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, which will be cherished by her three children: Devin Burchette, Dana Burchette, and Patrick Reece. She was a devoted mother who always put her family first. When Amanda wasn't caring for her children she enjoyed hobbies, such as crafting, traveling, and spending time with family no matter the activity.

Her adventurous spirit and infectious smile will be remembered by all who knew her. Although her health may have been the cause of her untimely departure, her memory will live on with all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, knowing God has taken away all her pain, fear, and worries. 

Please join us December 7th, 2025, at Cornerstone Covenant Church in Hudson, NC to celebrate Amanda’s life at 2:00 PM with Pastor Danny Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Covenant Church.
