Annette Beane, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and revered member of the community, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the age of 89. Born in North Carolina on January 19, 1936, Annette was the cherished daughter of the late Lee and Jenny Robertson.
Annette lived a full and blessed life, dedicating herself to faith, family, and community. As a devoted member of her church, she found joy in worship and fellowship, and her love for the Lord was evident to all who knew her.
Annette married her soulmate, Clarence Beane, and together they raised a beautiful family. Their 70 years of marriage stands as a testament to their enduring love and commitment.
Annette is preceded in death by her parents, her dear sister Dixie King, and beloved niece Debbie Gray. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Clarence; her cherished children: Alan Beane and wife Trudy, Roger Beane and wife Krista, Carla Johnson and husband Greg; and her adoring grandchildren: Charity, Lacey, Nicole, Erica, Courtney, Alison, Christopher, and Tiffani. She was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren and numerous loved nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
She was a nurturing daycare teacher who left a lasting impact on countless young lives. Her warmth and kindness resonated with children and colleagues alike, marking her career with fond memories and lifelong friendships.
Annette was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, UNC Tarheels, and Nascar, often sharing her enthusiasm with family gatherings. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by loved ones, especially her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Daily conversations with her best friend Mary Sue Hall were among her most treasured routines.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Annette’s life on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, located at 1448 Cajah Mountain Road, Hudson, NC 28638. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the service at 12:00 PM.

Though Annette’s presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on through the love and memories she so generously gave during her time on earth.
