Annie Jeanette Holloway

Jeanette Lord Holloway, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Glenda Harbison (Morgan), Stephen Holloway (Kim), Joyce Watson (Mike), and Marsha Harbison, widow of Gunter Harbison. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren – Amanda, Emily, Erica, Martin, Christopher, Katie, and 8 great-grandchildren – Elijah, Damon, Clara, Levi, Ophelia, Parker, Wyatt, and Della. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Henry L. Holloway.

Jeanette was a faithful member of North Catawba Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC for many years, until she became homebound by illness and eventually admitted to the Shaire Center, where she resided until death. She was a Christian lady, who loved the Lord with all her heart, and loved her family and friends.

Jeanette will be remembered as a devoted mother and housewife. She had many neighborhood friends in the community where she lived, whom she cherished very much, including the Vance family, Kenneth and Elizabeth, and Mrs. Betty Lipps.

The family will receive friends at 2 pm, Sunday, November 1, 2026, at North Catawba Baptist Church, with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 pm, followed by burial in the North Catawba Baptist Church cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Henry.
