Arnold Emanuel Mcrary

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Arnold Emanuel McRary, age 90, of Lenoir, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in Lenoir Health Care Center. Born October 24, 1916 in Caldwell County, Mr. McRary was a son of the late Frank and Rosa Belle Roberts McRary and the husband of Catherine Williams McRary of the home. Mr. McRary was a member of Bethel Advent Christian Church and a retired farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Surviving other than his wife are two sons, Larry E. McRary and wife Patricia of Conover; Richard Steven McRary and wife Deborah of Greensboro; two sisters, Judy Lewis of Silver Springs, Maryland; Dessie Dollinger and husband Ansel of Leigh High Acres, FL; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Everette and Albert McRary and 4 sisters, Katherine Cole, Edith Roberts, Bessie McRary and Elsie McRary. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Bethel Advent Christian Church with Reverend Wendell DuBois officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7 until 8:30 PM at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir.
