Statesville, NC - Barbara Susan Goodman, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, just shy of her 76th birthday. Born on January 31st, 1950, in New York, Barbara's life was a testament to the power of love, strength, and independence.

Barbara was a cherished resident of Statesville, North Carolina, where she resided with her beloved family. She shared 25 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Sheldon Goodman, who remains to honor and carry on her legacy. Barbara took immense pride in her family, always putting them first with a thoughtful and caring nature that touched everyone around her.

As an astute businesswoman, Barbara successfully ran her own business, a venture that reflected her independent spirit and determination. Her work life was as vibrant and unique as her personality, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working with her.

Barbara's affection for her family was mirrored by her love for animals, especially her cherished Yorkshire Terriers and Shih Tzu dogs. Her faithful companion, Bella, will deeply miss her presence.

Preceded in death by her parents, Barbara is survived by a family who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She leaves behind her son, Russell Euler, and his wife, Alisa Gomes-Euler, and is also survived by her adored granddaughter, Giavonna Gomes-Euler. Her step-grandsons, Dylan Goodman, Ian Goodman, Jared Goodman, and her step-granddaughter Ella Goodman also mourn her passing.
