Barbara Jean Perry, age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 7, 1947, in North Carolina, Barbara was the beloved daughter of the late Bill and Louise Hagaman of Happy Valley and Setzers Creek.

Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where her compassion and dedication touched many lives. She was known for her kind-hearted nature and a deep love for her family, people, and the beauty of the natural world. Her days were often spent tending to her vibrant garden, a reflection of her nurturing spirit and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her cherished children, Shannon Hagaman and Jimmy Perry, as well as her former spouse, Larry Perry. Barbara was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, all of whom will forever hold her memory dear, alongside numerous family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know her loving, caring, and joyful spirit.

Barbara's life was one of warmth, connection, and love—a beautiful testament to her wonderful spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
