Bertha Greene

Mrs. Bertha Isabelle Greene, age 86, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home. Born on August 12, 1934 in Watauga County, Bertha was a daughter of the late Bynum and Ida Parlier Moore.Bertha enjoyed sewing.She especially liked making dolls. She enjoyed gardening and was also a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Arnette; four brothers, Ivey Moore, Clyde Moore, Lewis Moore and Dana Moore; a daughter in law, Pam Greene. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Willard Greene; four sons, Roy Greene (wife Renee), Charles Greene, Ronnie Greene (wife Arlene) and Jeff Greene (wife Lisa); two sisters, Blanche Hamn and Betty Greene;10 grandchildren, Joshua Greene, Danielle Price, Dolan Willis, Bryson Greene, Danny Keener, Shelia Brinkley, Angie Icenhour, Christie Lewis, Keith Watson and Amanda Watson; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A graveside celebration of Bertha’s life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Pastor Bobby Pritchard officiating.
