Betty Pritchard Bowlin

Betty Pritchard Bowlin slipped into a peaceful sleep on July 14, 2025 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. She is now awaiting for the return of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Betty is survived by her six children and their spouses: Terry and Anita Pritchard, Dennis and Mary Pritchard, Ronald and Lisa Pritchard, Kenneth and Margaret Pritchard, Teresa Perkins, and Brenda and Richard Carle. She is also survived by her older sister Mary Earp.

She is preceded in death by two husband’s, Johnny Pritchard and John Bowlin. Also, two grandsons, Jason Parsons, and Jonathon Betancourt. Both parents, George and Della Price. Three brothers, Benjamin, Eli, and Tom Price. Two sisters, Beatrice Price and Barbara Wilson.

Betty leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She loved every single member of her family and was loved back with the same abundance.

Betty raised all six of her children in the Lenoir Seventh Day Adventist Church where they are all still active members along with most of their families. We look forward to the day of reunion in heaven with all of our loved ones.

Betty had a big heart and spent her life always helping others as much as she could. She was a hard worker, a dedicated Mother and Grandmother (Mawmaw), and a great friend to anyone she met. She was a living example of kindness and love while overcoming many hardships. She will be missed deeply and forever remembered.

Receiving of friends will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Lenoir Seventh Day Adventist Church, 518 Pennell St NE, Lenoir, NC. Services will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Wait, followed by graveside service at Mariah’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rocky Pritchard, Brian Pritchard, Charles Pritchard, Matthew Bowlin, Brandon Detter, and Justin Price. We thank you for the love, care, and condolences during this very difficult time.
