Betty Everhardt

Mrs. Betty Mae Helton Everhardt, age 65, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Lenoir Healthcare. Born May 8, 1952 in Caldwell County, Betty was a daughter of the late James and Nancy Margaret Helton.She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church and enjoyed doing crafts.Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Adams and Sherry Helton. Survivors include her children, Margaret Price (husband Stephen Price, II) and Marshall Robbins (wife Stephanie) both of Lenoir; a sister, Callie Johnson; three brothers, James Helton, Jr., Danny Helton and Gene Helton; her grandchildren, Kyle Taylor, Cole Price, Payton Price, Courtney Caldwell and Amber Ellis; her great grandchildren, Sophie Taylor and Kenlea Caldwell; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Betty’s life will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Harrisburg Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tony Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Harrisburg Baptist Church at 940 Harrisburg Drive SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
