Betty Hickok

Betty Lou Hickok, 92, of Koinonia Assisted Living in Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Carolina Rehab of Burke in Connelly Springs, NC. She was born August 24, 1928 in Davenport, Florida and her family moved to South Dayton, NY where she attended High School, graduating in 1945.Betty married Harold Hickok in 1948.Betty and her husband Harold moved to Bethlehem, NC in 1968 beginning a career in real estate in 1985.She was very successful owning a Century 21 office in Hickory until retirement.She was a member of Lenoir Community Church for 34 years.One of her joys was playing the piano and did so at various places in the area for fun and entertainment.She is survived by her three children, Gary Hickok, Greg Hickok, and Cindy Perry, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great- grandchildren.
