Betty Lou Norris

Lenoir- Mrs. Betty Miller Norris, age 74, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Mrs. Norris was born February 26, 1936 in Watauga County to the late Orville and Ida Greene Miller. She was married to her husband of 54 years, Frank Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Leland Miller and her sister, Josephine Potter. Other than her husband she is survived by her sons and their wives, Mike and Nancy Norris, Mark and Lori Norris, and Dennis and Denise Norris; one brother, Arlon Miller of Statesville; grandchildren, Tabitha Davis and husband Nathan, Grayson Helms and wife, Amy, Ashley Abel, Ashley Stinnett, Angela Norris, David Norris, and Samantha Norris; great-grandchildren, Makayla Davis and Grant Helms. A celebration of Mrs. Norris’ life will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 1:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Ricky Bowman officiating. Intombment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 until 1:00 prior to the service.
