Lenoir, NC- Mr. Bobby Joe Clark, Sr., age 75, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. Born May 5, 1942 in Wise County, VA, Bobby was a son of the late Dillard and Ruby Harbin Clark. Bobby will be remembered for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Carp Fisherman. He will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Clark, Lonnie Ray Clark and Tommy Clark; and three sisters, Judy Bowers, Barbra Shore and Scottie Jean Clark. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty Sue Clark; a son, Pastor Bobby “Joe” Clark, Jr. (wife Angie) of Lenoir; a daughter, Lisa Clark Carlton (husband Randy) of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Justin Estes (wife Stephanie) and Chasidy Isbell (husband Mikeal) both of Lenoir; his great granddaughter who was the light of his life, Kathryn Eileen Estes; his sisters, Norma Pingel (husband Ken) of Claremont, Charlotte Sweeten (husband Ron) of Georgia and Brenda Bole of California; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Joe Clark and Reverend Brad Hendrix officiating.
