Brenda K. Lail

Brenda Kay Lail, age 71, of Lenoir passed away on May 12, 2018 at Hickory Falls Nursing and Rehab. Born March 16, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Reverend James R. and Faye Chapman Lail. She worked with Fairfield Furniture for many years and served as executive secretary to Harper Beal.Her Fairfield family was very supportive to Brenda throughout her whole illness.She was an avid Carolina Tarheel fan.She collected Tarheel memorabilia from her three special girlfriends, Janet Winkler, Brenda Kirkland and Shirley Poarch.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Neil Lail. Surviving are two brothers, Jack (wife Brenda) of Lenoir and Jerry Lail (wife Linda) of Hickory; a sister, Linda Lail of Raleigh; She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. It was Brenda’s wishes not to have a public service and receiving, but the family will have a private family remembrance at a later date. Brenda wanted the staffs of Hickory Falls and Caldwell Hospice to know how much she appreciated the special love, support, and care she was given by them.
