Brenda Kay Triplett

Brenda Kay Triplett went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Sylvia Oxford; and her daughter, Lesa Hudson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Douglas Triplett; her children, Daniel Hudson, Tammy Propst, and Lora Curtis (Jerry); her grandchildren, Lee, Elizabeth “KK,” Amanda, James, CJ, and Dylan; as well as many great-grandchildren.

Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker and always made sure she provided for her children.

Brenda was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service to honor Brenda’s life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church in Hudson, NC. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Nicky Waters and Pastor Darren Peterson will be officiating.
