Brian Allen Conner

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Brian Allen Conner, age 40, of Lenoir, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born June 25, 1967 in Caldwell County, Mr. Conner was a son of Bennie and Judy Conner of Littleton, NC and the husband of Carla Moore Conner of the home. Brian served in the U.S. Air Force as a security policeman during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was an electrician, a graduate of Lenoir Christian Academy and was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Other than his wife and parents, Brian is survived by 2 daughters, Caitlin Elizabeth Conner and Danielle Marie Conner, both of Granite Falls; one son, Dylan Allen Conner of the home; 2 step-sons, David Lee Roark of Lenoir; Daniel Louis Roark of the home and one brother, Anthony Lynn Conner of Puebla, Mexico. A celebration of Brian?s life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Matthews and Reverend Tim Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites. Pallbearers will be: Kim Story, Michael Sipes, Jeff Jones, Joey Barlow, Marty Toliver and Robert Woodring. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 on Wednesday, prior to the service at New Life Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for Dylan Conner has been established at Wachovia Bank, 1005 Blowing Rock Blvd., Lenoir, NC 28645.
