Carol Lee Greer

Carol Lee Greer, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

He was born on April 5, 1950 in Ashe County NC, to the late Russ and Agnes Greer.

In addition to his parents, Carol is preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Greer, Herman Greer, Charles Greer; and sister, Judy Miller.

Those left to cherish Carol’s memory are his sisters, Anne Pennington, Jean Greer (Bill), Carolyn Alexander (Lloyd), Jackie Baldwin (Larry), Marilyn Taylor; brothers, Paul Greer (Fay), Tony Greer (Cindy); special sisters-in-law, Mary Suits, Ann Greer; brother-in-law, Ray Miller; and numerous loved nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Carol attended New Haven Baptist Church in Lenoir, even with his declining health he attended church when possible. He worked for the Caldwell County School System for several years.

A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Covenant Baptist Church on the Connelly Springs, Granite Falls with Pastor Tony Greer and Pastor Lonnie Lackey officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 at Covenant Baptist Church on the Connelly Springs Road, Granite Falls. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
