Cathy H. Harmon

 Cathy Hartley Harmon, 59, of Lenoir, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2017 at UNC –Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital from complications after having recent surgery. She was born in Caldwell County on May 7, 1957 to the late Bill L. Hartley and Cora Kirby Hartley. Cathy was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will always be remembered for her caring personality and her love of life. Cathy is survived by her husband, Terry Harmon; son, Nicholas Harmon and wife, Tina Marie Harmon; brother, Terry Hartley and wife, Karen Barlow Hartley; grandson, Jayden Harmon; nephew, Zachary K. Hartley of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Sandra Farmer and husband, Johnie; and brother-in-law, Doug Parsons and wife, Harriett. A memorial service for Cathy will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Travis Oswald officiating.
