Clyde Harmon Loudermelt

Lenoir -Mr. Clyde Harmon Loudermelt, age 80, passed away on September 8, 2017 at his home.Mr. Loudermelt was born September 8, 1937 in Caldwell County. Mr. Loudermelt was preceded in death by his parents Walter Lewis and Mary Pitts Loudermelt; his son, Gregory Larry Casper and daughter, Sherry Loudermelt; and an infant brother and sister.Mr. Loudermelt was employed in the furniture industry. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mary Houck Loudermelt; his daughters, Rhonda Hollars, and husband Joey; Alma Vite, and husband Hilario; Donna Shoemaker, and husband Donnie; Tammy Norton, and husband Barry; sons Randy Loudermelt, and wife Tammy; and Lewis Dean Loudermelt, and wife, Tracy. In addition, Mr. Loudermelt is survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great- grandchildren. A service celebrating Mr. Loudermelt’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Internment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
