Connie Elaine Hartley

Jan 24, 1971 — Oct 15, 2026

After a lifelong battle with multiple health issues, our precious loved one, Connie Hartley passed away October 15th, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Connie was born on January 24, 1971, in Lenoir, NC.

Connie was the sweetest person you would ever meet. At a young age, Connie’s parents were told she would never survive adulthood. Through her Lord and Savior and Connie’s zeal to live, she overcame every obstacle and battle that came her way. Connie was a patient lead at the Caldwell County Codialysis center where she was a patient for the past 34 years. She showed the other patients how to live with dialysis by leading as an example and praying for them daily.

Connie was a devout member of Baton Baptist Church where she had a passion for mission work. She loved helping with the card ministry and singing in the choir. When Connie was not serving her church, she had a love for crafts and spending time with family and friends. If you ever met Connie, you wouldn’t walk away without hearing about her Lord and Savior.

Connie is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and the love of her life, Donnie Cook.

Connie is survived by her devoted parents, Walter and Darlene Hartley. Her loving sister, Karen Coppedge, and husband Johnny. Two nephews, Allen Minton and wife Ashley, and Nathan Lowery. Three great nephews, Carson McManus, Bryson Minton, Jaxson Minton and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a host of loving church family.

Family and friends will gather at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to Baton Baptist Church 4491 Hickory Nut Ridge Rd. Hudson, NC 28638.
