Dale Stewart Turnmire

Dale Stewart Turnmire, 67, passed away at home after an extended illness on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Dale was born on September 14, 1958, to Evelyn Ritch and the late Eugene Turnmire.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish Dale’s memory are his wife, Linda Lawson; children, Doug Turnmire (Lucinda), Paul Sisk, Larry Johnson (Angela); Angela Younce; grandchildren, Roselyn Martin, Marcus Martin, Bentley Turnmire, Emily Sisk, Brian Younce, Zoey Younce, Taylor Younce, Jordan Younce, Trinton and Caleb Johnson, and siblings, Bruce Turnmire, Charles Turnmire (Pat), Carolyn Turnmire, and Sandy Fredell (Kenneth).

Dale was an avid collector, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He retired from RPM Industrial Group after 20 years of employment.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Following the visitation, the family will have a graveside service on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Shiloh Community Cemetery, 3110 Shiloh Church Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Serving as pallbearers are Douglas Turnmire, Bentley Turnmire, Bruce Turnmire, Larry Johnson, Trenton Johnson, Brian Scheurmann.
