Daniel Scott Rash

Granite Falls, NC- Mr. Daniel Scott Rash, age 65, of Granite Falls, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011. Born March 7, 1946, Daniel was a son of Mildred Vance Rash and the late, Victor Rash. Daniel had worked as an industrial engineer for many years. He was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed prospecting for gold. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Scott Rash of Lenoir; Daniel’s life partner, Caroline Tester of Granite Falls; a step son, Aaron Tester of Granite Falls; a step daughter, Brittany Tester of Granite Falls; two sisters and a brother in law, Cobina Taylor of Banner Elk, and Elizabeth and Brad Noles of Walkertown; four brothers and sisters in law, Pete and Madelyn Rash of Newland, Jon and Sue Rash of Banner Elk, Patrick Rash of Glenwood, and Mark and Paulette Rash of Conover; Daniel is also survived by numerous other relatives and his beloved dog “Max”.
