Darrell Dean Proffit

In loving memory of Darrell Dean Proffit, Sunrise February 21st, 1978. Sunset Wednesday August 16th, 2017. He went to join the lord leaving behind a host of loving family members and friends.He was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, Father, Husband and Grandfather. He was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Proffit of Todd, NC, and Mrs. Eula “Sis” Bryant of Lenoir. He is survived by his loving Parents, Mr. Harold and Helen Faye Proffit of Lenoir; Grandfather Clarence E Bryant of Lenoir; His loving Son Dalton Matthew Walsh of Lenoir; His loving Wife Sandra S. Proffit of Lenoir; Two loving Daughters Mariah Janai Corpening and Amber Jerline Anderson of Lenoir; Two Granddaughters Lillie Grace Hall and Rayne Marie Hall of Lenoir; He is also survived by His loving Sister, Sherry Whisnant Berry of Hickory; A Nephew Michael Derrick Shane of Hickory; Three N ieces, Stacey Lynn Iselin and Husband, Chris Iselin of Ft. Stewart, GA. Haley Leanne Berry of Lenoir, NC, and Olivia Faye Jade Whisnant of Virginia. Darrell was loved by many and will be missed by all! A memorial service will be held at Poarch Chapel Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Receiving friends from 2pm to 3 pm prior to the service at the church. Services conducted by Eric Proffit and Wallace Smith. Interment at the Chandler Family Cemetery on Setzer’s Creek Road.
