David Burchette

David Randy Burchette, 70, passed away on Saturday September 5, 2026, at Amorem.

David was born on September 7, 1955, to the late Paul and Madge Burchette.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Burchette, Jr.

Those left to cherish David’s memory are his wife of 37 years, Debra “Deedee” Burchette; son, Josh Burchette; daughters; Hannah Taylor (Josh), Jessica Jewell; grandchildren, Dylan Burchette, James Burchette, Lewis Jewell, Chloe Tompkins; brothers, Tim Burchette (Bobbie), Tony Wiles (Nancy), sisters, Pat King (Junior), Geraldine Hammond (Jeff), Lesa Baker (Roger), Cathy Johnson (Steve); sister-in-law, Delpha “Bunny” Burchette; and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

David worked as a heavy-duty truck mechanic and salesman. His hobbies included playing music, golf, RC cars and planes.

A private Celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.

The family respectfully request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Amorem Hospice in Hudson, NC in David’s memory.
