Ms. Dawn Maria Carr, age 44, of Big Pine Key, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Iredell County. Born January 5, 1974 in South Haven, Michigan, Dawn was a daughter of Bette Nielson and David Carr.Dawn enjoyed kayaking, hiking, quilting and helping with animal rescue.She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Shephard. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her step mother, Ellen Carr; her children, Kayla Baggett, James Collins and Nicole Pritchard; a brother, Leslie Carr; a step brother, James Clark; a step sister, Rebecca Clark; her fiancé, Chuck Bayes; she is also survived by numerous other relatives.
