Debra Cloer

Debra Causby Cloer passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Debra was born in Lenoir, NC on August 19, 1956.

She was the wife of Barry Edward Cloer, they resided in Hudson, NC and shared 51 beautiful years of marriage together. She was a member of Hudson First Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her loving heart, contagious laugh, her ability to bring people together and her delicious food. Debra is survived by Barry Edward Cloer (spouse), Jamie Louise Cloer (daughter) and spouse, Crystal Lynn Cloer (daughter) and spouse, Savannah Louise Brown (granddaughter) and spouse, Mahaila Annalise Hand (granddaughter) and spouse, Maggie Lynne Gibbs (granddaughter) and spouse, Mia Leigh Ellis (granddaughter), Grayson Wyatt Kirby (grandson), Leighton Elouise Hallyburton (great granddaughter), Ely Paul Hand (great grandson), Hallee Lynne Gibbs (great granddaughter) and Andie Wren Hand (great granddaughter).

Debra is preceded in death by her father Clifton Asbury Causby, her mother Elouise Causby, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. In accordance to Debra’s wishes, the family will honor her life in a private memorial. They extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered love, prayers, and support during this time.
