Dennie Lee Enloe

Dennie Lee Enloe, age 88, left this world to meet his Savior on July 15, 2026, following an extended illness. Dennie was a remarkably humble, kind, and friendly man who brought joy to those around him. Known for his playful spirit, he was always joking around and possessed a generous heart, truly willing to do anything for anyone. In his earlier years, he was an avid deer hunter, and throughout his life, he found great peace and enjoyment working out in his yard. Above all, Dennie was a bellowed husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Dennie was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Sadie Enloe; his daughter, Cathy Enloe; his sister, Allene Enloe; and his brothers, Don, Commodore, Conrad, Clyde, and Gary Enloe.

He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma Enloe; his sons Mike (Tracy) Enloe, and Randy (Tera) Enloe; his brothers Frank (Jeanie) Enloe and Brent Enloe; and his sister, Theresa Enloe.

He is also survived by his six cherished grandchildren: Taylor Enloe, Mekenzie (Wilson) Lemly, Luke Enloe, Ryan (Kierra) Enloe, Ben (Taylor) Enloe, and Kaylee (Andy) Michalski. A memorial service to celebrate Dennie’s life will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC where he served as a member and deacon for many years. Pastors Eric Thomas and Robert Livingston will be officiating the service.
