Donna Hartsell

Ms. Donna Bolick Hartsell, age 64, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Newton. Born April 6, 1955 in Caldwell county, Donna was a daughter of the late Ward Allen and Mattie Sheldenia White Bolick.Donna was Baptist by faith and was a lifelong member of Center Grove Baptist Church.Donna spent years working as a Medical Technician at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.Donna will be remembered for her love of playing golf, music, but most important, spending time with her grandchildren and family.In addition to her parents, Donna was also preceded in death bybrother, Allen Bolick. Survivors include her two daughters, Shelly Dare Shoemaker and Alexis Terri Trivette (husband Lester); two grandchildren, Benjamin Eric Stinnette and Emma Rylee Trivette; two sisters, Linda Slaughter and Robin Setzer; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Donna’s life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Center Grove Baptist Church at 3:00 PM with Pastor Chris Helderman officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church.
