Donnie Allen

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Donnie Allen Lee, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born March 19, 1953 in Avery County, Donnie was a son of the late James Buster and Dimple Vance Lee. Donnie had worked as a truck driver for many years and was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served our country during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Buster Lee, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Judy Lee of the home; his children, Gary Allen Lee of Albemarle, NC, Cleveland H. Long (wife Jessica) of Charleston, SC, Crystal M. Lee of Marion and Dakota Ann Lee of Lenoir; two sisters, Priss Warren of Lenoir and Della Louise Holtsclaw of Elk Park; five grandchildren, Haley Long, Noah Long, Peyton Long, Justin Crowder and Paige Briggs; one great grandchild, Caden Crowder; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
