Dot Greene

Dorothy Minton Greene of Hudson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 96.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 54 years, Doyle Edward Greene who passed in 2004; mother, Viola S. Triplett and sister, Jean Yates.

She leaves behind a legacy of love with her children, Dale E. Greene (Brenda Triplett) and Dana Greene (Pam), great-granddaughters, Amber Dula (Davron) and Wendy Bolick (Marc), great granddaughter, Bailey Bolick (Calob Williams) and great-great grandsons, Owen and Nashton.

Dot was a loving and dedicated homemaker always putting her family first. She took great pride in her beautiful flower beds and yard, often winning Hudson’s yard of the week. She spent most evenings listening to the radio, reading her Bible, always with a cat by her side, giving them much love and attention.

A graveside celebration of Dot’s life will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Ron Greene officiating.

Memorials donations may be made to Amorem Hospice in Lenoir.
