Douglas Ray Kimberlin Douglas Ray Kimberlin, 45, of Morganton passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.Doug was born May 16, 1972 in San Jose, CA.He graduated from South Caldwell High School in 1990 and completed the Western Piedmont Criminal Justice Program in 1996.He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Zelda Kimberlin. Doug is survived by his fiancé, Karla Kincaid; brothers, Kenny Kimberlin, Michael Kimberlin and Scott Kimberlin; nephew, Jeff Kimberlin; nieces, Sierra and Cheyenne Kimberlin and Tiffany Key; his special grandchildren, Ashton and Arden Kincaid and Natalie Rose. A Celebration of Life will be held at Littlejohn United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Adam Klutz BLET Academic Merit Scholarship in honor of Doug Kimberlin through Western Piedmont Foundation, 1001 Burkemont Ave, Morganton, NC28655 or the Table Rock VFW Post 5362, 529 Hopewell Rd, Morganton, NC28655.
