Eddie Edminsten

Lenoir- George Edward “Eddie” Edminsten, age 57, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady Harrison Edmisten and Rose Shore Edmisten; Josie Copeland Edmisten and Everett Edmisten; parents, George Edward Edminsten and Alma Elouise Edmisten;and his infant son. Eddie is survived by his wife, Ellen Paige Sargent of Lenoir; stepsons, Tristin Killian and wife, Maggie; grandchildren, Ella Killian and Elijah Killian of McDowell County, NC; Jack Killian and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Mattie Killian, Miriah Killian, and Gabriel Killian of Caldwell County; sisters, Carolyn Hobson and husband, Mickey of Savannah, GA; nephew, T. Jason Hahn and wife Lesa of Granite Falls; Linda Greene and husband, Ronald of Lenoir; nephew, Eric Greene and wife, Amanda; great-nephew, Bryan Greene; great-niece, Alyssa Greene of Augusta,GA; niece, Terrah Pugh and husband, Steve; great-nieces, Terrah L. Hahn, Alaura Pugh and great-nephew, Benjamin Pugh all of Crescent City, Florida; niece, Angela Ford and husband, Ryan and great-niece, Elise Ford of Pittsboro, NC; and his dog, Buddy, who is now in the loving home of family members, Robert and Carolyn Edmisten. A memorial service for Eddie will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Reverend William R. Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private burial will take place at a later date.
