Edward Paul Mitchell

Mr. Edward Paul Mitchell, age 84, of Taylorsville passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.

Born January 2, 1938 in Yancy County, Edward was a son of the late Ida Mitchell.  Edward was a truck driver for many years.  He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his son, Eddie Ray Mitchell (fiancé Sierra Price); two daughters, Linda Berg (husband Mark) and Nancy Schafer; 10 grandchildren, Megan Singletary, Jacob Shoemake, Katie Mitchell, Elizabeth Mitchell, Cheyenne Mitchell, Ayden Boyd, Waylon Schafer, Emily Schafer, Tobias Mitchell and Kason Price; his great grandchildren, Athena and Scott; a brother, Jerry Byrd; two sisters, Glenda Whitson and Diane Sother; Edward was also survived by numerous other relatives.

There will be no services held at this time.
