Elizabeth "Beth" Marie Minton

Elizabeth (Beth) Marie Minton, 42, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Beth’s family is thankful that she is now in the loving arms of Jesus and her family that was awaiting her in Heaven, Mamaw Beverly, Jackie Falkowski, Nanny Mary and Papaw WC, Christopher Summerow, Robin Price, Mamaw Rose, Norma and Dennis Hall, Rex Wright, and Beth Collins.

Beth was born on April 17, 1983, to Maureen Craig Collins.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Matthew Russell Collins, James Lineberger (Kali); step sister, Kasey Lea Collins; uncles, Joe Craig (Larry Tilson), Rich Falkowski; aunts, Patricia Nicklas (Brian), Robin Nichols (Nick), Sandy Price, Valarie Summerow (Jeff), Tina Robbins (Doug), Sue Corliss (Mike), and Cyndi Helton (Chris); cousins, Renee Melgoza, Jordan Kinnaman, Amari Kinnaman, Jessica Price, Melissa Price Walsh, Laura Nichols, Alison Collins Roland, Taylor Helton, Shai Cannon, Hannah Robbins, Graham Helton, Grayce Helton, and Sarah Collins and so many more extended family.

In the latter years of her life, Beth lived at home with her mother and brother where she loved working alongside her mom. She had a love for all sports (Tarheels) that she shared with her brother that helped created a strong bond between them. Her funny sense of humor and big heart will be missed. Her big heart included her extended family and her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. That heart also included her 4 kittens that did not have a home until Beth became their mother. She loved animals but these 4 kittens became her babies Smokey, Max, Loverboy and Tigger already miss her dearly. Beth loved the yearly family beach trips that would sometimes be with her mom and brother, but then also big extended family beach trips. Both Beth and her mom were very thankful for their restored relationship that could have only happened with Jesus Christ in both their lives.

A Celebration of Beth’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Setzer’s Gap Church, 2625 Collettsville Road, Lenoir, NC 28645 with Pastor Ken Byerly officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Setzer’s Gap Church.
