Eloise Marley, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Eloise was born on December 20, 1946, to the late James Clifton and Lena Laveral Hayes.
In addition to Eloise’s parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Larry Hayes and sister-in-laws, Gloria Hayes, Jeannette Pearson, and Deane Kirby.
Those left to cherish Eloise’s memory are her husband of 58 years, Tommy Marley; son, Jeff Marley (Tammie); daughter, Denise Sesco (Kevin); grandchildren, Nathan and Michael Brooks, Ethan Sesco, Madison Cristobal (Michael); nine great-grandchildren and one on the way, Charlotte Hayes Cristobal; brother, John Hayes; sister-in-law, Joyce Beane, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eloise was a member of Hartland Baptist Church for 49 years where she was a very devoted member. She retired from Bernhardt after 29 years of dedicated service.
Eloise was always involved with her family, children, and grandchildren. She traveled the country with her mother. Eloise was known as “Weezy” by a group of high schoolers and college friends that would play Rook.
Eloise was a wonderful wife, mother, mawmaw who loved her family immensely, and most of all, she loved the Lord. She will be dearly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service to celebrate Eloise’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Hartland Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Smith and Pastor Steve Parker officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hartland Baptist Church.
