Elsie Morrison Duncan

Granite Falls – Mrs. Elsie Mabry Morrison Duncan, 86, went home peacefully to be with her Lord, as she was surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Brockford Inn Assisted Living. She was born in Henderson County on October 26, 1930 to the late C.A. Morrison and Juno Bishop Morrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Duncan and her brothers, Lawrence Morrison and Charles Morrison. She is survived by her brother, Lenus Morrison and wife, Nancy and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the home of Vickie Morrison on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 3:00 until 4:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 4:30 PM. Pastor Ed Warren officiating.
