Emily Grace Ward

Emily Grace Ward, 15, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, June 30th. Emily was born April 7, 2006, and was a daughter of Ronald Albert Ward and Karen Brown Ward of Lenoir. Emily was an upcoming sophomore at Hibriten High School and due to start her first job.She was a budding artist and animal lover. Survivors include her Mother, Karen Brown Ward, and a brother, William Thomas Ward, both of Lenoir; a Nephew, Micah Asher Ward; her Grandmother, Edith Killian Brown; her Grandfather, Albert Ward; and numerous other loved ones. A celebration of Emily’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 12:00PM at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Poarch and Reverend Bradley Walker officiating.Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Caldwell Humane Society at www.caldwellhumane.org.
