Evelyn Robbins

Evelyn Robbins went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1943, to the late Virginia and Page Triplett.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Richard "Dayton" Robbins.

Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church and loved her Lord, her family friends, and all things Little Debbie. She impacted so many lives through teaching children in Sunday school, volunteering in prison ministries, and her day-to-day life. This was evident by the many people who adopted her as either “Mom” or “Granny.”

Survivors include three children: Tina Cooper and husband Billy, Dayton Robbins and wife Michelle, and Bobby Robbins and wife Bethany, all of Lenoir. Seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and five siblings: Nancy Harris, Alicia Buff, Wanda Taylor, Larry Triplett and Susie Bentley.

The family will receive friends and family at Grace Baptist Church in Gamewell on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM with the service following at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Watson. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens will follow the service.
