Faye C. Hood

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Faye C. Hood, age 83, of Granite Falls, NC died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Hood was born in Caldwell County on June 23, 1926 to the late Robert and Ada McCreary Lingle. She was retired from the textile industry and was of Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gwyn ?Babe? Hood and a son J.D. Hood. Mrs. Hood is survived by two sons, Charles Hood and Clyde ?Burl? Hood, both of Granite Falls. She has six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 2:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
