Francine Dula Watson

Lenoir – Mrs. Francine Dula Watson, age 73, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Caldwell County on February 9. 1944 to the late Fritz and Allie Dula. In addition to her, parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Watson; daughter, Monica Watson Brookshire; and her brother, Charles “Chink” Dula. She is survived by her son-in-law, Charles Brookshire; grandson, Aaron Brookshire; nephews, David Teague, Brent Watson and Tony Watson; nieces, Donna Teague, Johnna Triplett, Angie Clark and Audra Hoyle; She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. A celebration of Mrs. Watson’s life will be held at Piney Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Reeves and Pastor Brian Dula officiating. Interment will follow the service at Laytown Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 prior to the service.
