Fred Finley Hatton

Boomer, NC- Mr. Fred Finley Hatton, age 84, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Mr. Hatton was born March 9, 1926, in Caldwell County, to the late John Finley Hatton and Ida Reid Hatton. He was married to Dorothy Mae Colvard. Mr. Hatton was a hard-working, retired farmer and enjoyed socializing with his friends. He dearly loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Clifford Hatton, five sisters, and three brothers. Other than his wife, Mr. Hatton is survived by his son, Kenneth Hatton, and wife Rhonda; grandsons, Todd Campbell and Chris Hatton; eleven great-grandchildren; and brothers Bob and Tom Hatton. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 10:00 until 11:00 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Interment will immediately follow the service at Livingston Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Ed Greene will be officiating.
