Fred Joseph Philyaw

Lenoir, NC- Fred Joseph "Joe" Stanley Philyaw, age 48, of Lenoir, died Monday, August 2, 2010 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born June 5, 1962 in Calvert, MD, Joe was a son of the late David Luther and Etta Barnett Philyaw. He is survived by his wife, Jewel Diane Coffey Philyaw; two daughters, Jasmine Rain Philyaw and Jennifer Diane Philyaw; 5 brothers, Harley, Dennis, Eddie, Charles and George Philyaw; 6 sisters, Jewell Hollar, Dolly Coffey, Essie Coffey, Carolyn Philyaw, Ruth Humphrey and Millie Bowen and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Joe's residence.
