Gary Dale Church

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Gary Dale Church, age 67, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home. Born May 30, 1950 in Caldwell County, Gary was a son of the late Hillard and Florence Kirby Church.He had spent many years working in the furniture industry.He enjoyed watching Duke Basketball, going hunting and fishing.He was a veteran of the Army having served during Vietnam.He enjoyed most spending time with his children and grandchildren. Surviving relatives include his two daughters, Scarlet Glover (husband Shane) of Lenoir and Marsha Gray of Seattle, Washington; two sons, Chris Church (fiancé Mindy) and Dustin Church of Hudson; a sister, Brenda Hartley (husband Earl); two brothers, Steve Church (wife Rachel) and Larry Church (wife Patsy); he is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous other relatives. A memorial service for Gary will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Danny Wright officiating.
