Glenda Walsh

Lenoir –Mrs. Glenda Aldridge Walsh, age 64, of Lenoir, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, July 18, 2014.Born January 1, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA, she was a daughter of the late Glen Aldridge and Alma Coleen Greene and the wife of Carl “Buddy” Walsh, to whom she had been married for 43 years. Glenda loved her family and her Lord.She was a member of Hartland Missionary Methodist Church.She was well-known for her wedding cakes, flowers and her enjoyment of making ceramics. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Roger Greene. Surviving other than her husband are her three children, Dustin Greene and wife Susan; Jadina Beaver and husband Tony; Danyelle Walsh; all of Lenoir; two sisters, Drena Adams and husband Wiley and Renee Triplett and husband Boyd, all of Lenoir.She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Veronica, Phoebe, Rhiannon, Kylee, Dillon, Kayla, Drema, Shadow and 1 great-grandchild, Butterfly. A celebration of Mrs. Walsh’s life will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Bentley officiating.The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the service.
