Goldie Elizabeth Goulds

On Tuesday the sixteenth of September in the year of our Lord 2025 Goldie Elizabeth Goulds, 94, died peacefully at Amorem Hospice of Valdese. Born August 27, 1931, Goldie was one of seven siblings. Later, she became a seamstress, devoted wife, and mother. She loved her family dearly. 

A member of West Lenoir Baptist is where she made friendships that have lasted many decades. She enjoyed watching birds and squirrels that littered her backyard. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Odus Goulds, daughter Cathy Goulds, and grandson Daniel Goulds. Survived by her son, Mike Goulds, granddaughter and spouse, Leah and Jason Hillard, and great grandson Jalen Goulds.

Graveside service will be held Sunday September 21st at 2pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks you make donations to hospice.
