Grady Spencer Bentley

Lenoir - Mr. Grady Spencer Bentley, age 72, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence.Born February 2, 1942 in Ashe County, Mr. Bentley was a son of the late Philmore and Nancy Greer Bentley. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Bentley, two brothers, Dale and Jess Bentley and two sisters, Mattie Whitener and Lessie Crump. A wonderful father and friend, Mr. Bentley had worked for Thomasville Furniture for 22 years. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa “Charlie” Bentley and Jackie Eller; one son, Randy Bentley; two brothers, Bill Bentley and Howard Bentley; two sisters, Nadine Wakefield and Martha Watson; 6 Grandchildren, Heather Everhart, Chris Bentley, Brian Bentley, Trevor Bentley, Tiffany Oliver, Chance Crump; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Jesse Bentley, Robert Everhart, IV, Malaki Bentley and his special friend and companion, Teresa Hale.He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Mr. Bentley will take place Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Lenoir Moose Lodge on Hwy 90 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
